Tonight fucking sucked. They had a chance no one thought they'd have and blew it with a horrendous 10-15 minutes. Overall the season was successful in my eyes (and I'd assume most others) and the future is bright.

Go make some noise and have some fun in the NIT.

Our resume looks a lot like Syracuse and Tulsa last year. We are basically 4th of 5th out right now, just need some committee quirks in our favor

Theee hours, boys. We have predictably moved back into the conversation without playing a game. Everyone overreacts after an early conference tourney loss. In reality the committee likely didn't even think about it.

I don't think we are in, but it wouldn't surprise me if we are the WTF?! selection this year.

They had a little mention of Iowa during the first half of BTT. Made note of all of their wins against teams projected to be in.
I agree it's a long shot. But fuck it, I would love to be the team that all the pundits bitched about. There's always at least one every year.

Nebrantska-Omaha, Nebrantska 2OT or the Minnesota screw job. Any of those flip and this is an NCAA team. It sucks but whatever.

Going to the tournament is obviously better. But if we make a deep run in the NIT, is it better for the future of this team than a one and done in the NCAA tournament?
