Maybe it's Fran just riding the hot hand but it seems like he has lost confidence in Toussaint. It might hurt some feelings but Ulis should be getting some time. bohannon is going to wear down at 36 mpg.

Connor now at a 5.18 assist to turnover ratio on the season. Monte’s record is in jeopardy.
FWIW peace

Season
(Min. 3 assists per game) 5.17—Monté Morris, Iowa St., 2017 (217 assists to 42 turnovers)

Career
(Min. 400 assists) 4.65—Monté Morris, Iowa St., 2014-17 (768 assists to 165 turnovers)

Iowa, Most Games with 30+ Points - All-Time

John Johnson - 13
Luka Garza - 11 (including today)
Fred Brown - 10

Division I teammates to record 10-assist/0-turnover games in back-to-back team games in the last 10 years: Connor McCaffery & Jordan bohannon over the last two games.

The last Division I team to have two players each record that in a game at some point in the same season was Baylor in 2016-17.

I would say bohannon has looked like 'vintage JBo' in the last few games, but he's looked even better - especially today.

His shooting stroke looks as good as it ever has. He's even getting pretty cocky, hoisting shots in tightly guarded situations and either hitting them or comes out after being halfway down.

I can't fucking wait for Thursday night.

MSU is due a real ass-kicking, courtesy of the Hawks.

Give the Spartans a taste of their own medicine and D up like the @MD game. Offense will provide the fireworks, as usual.

I am just glad Joe W picked it up when Keegan had a tough game.

Fuck the Gophers (& especially [wishes he had a big] Johnson) and that 5:44 minute stretch of unconscious shooting display on Christmas Day!!

Iowa is 6-0/12-1 right now otherwise.

Liam Robbins played Garza tough early on but Garza just wears people down. Minnesota made that late run in the second half to get it from like 18 to 7 and Iowa's offense looked completely out of sync then after a timeout, Garza goes to work and scores on two straight possessions.

Keegan got some really shitty fouls called on him today. Toussaint can't seem to get out of his own way. Patrick had a couple nice drives to the basket. Good team win.

Again they had some different guys step up for this one, I love to see who it will be each game. The perks of a deep team

I keep forgetting to take the live betting line no matter what it is, what the score is, or who the opponent is when Luka comes back in around the 8:00 mark after his mid-2nd half break.

It drives me nuts when they are up by 15-20 and they take tough, contested 3's or terrible shots early like Nunge does often. Allows 5 pt swings by not defending the 3 very well on the other end. They can pound the ball in to Garza and get kick outs for easier shots/3's where you are trading 1 pt if they hit a 3 at worst. Thats alot of possessions to cut into that lead.

Some of the pass catches and moves that Garza makes, and then finishes or draws a foul with, has me all

even after watching him do it game after game, after game. He's just that good, all the time. What an unbelievable treasure it is to have a nationally dominant player - NPotY - on your P6 CBB team that is already very good as is.

Wieskamp broke out of his slump today after 4 games. I would expect that Fredrick has a huge game against Michigan State and breaks out of his slump.
Looks like the bench is a great motivator.

Lol. If that is true, why didn't it motivate CJ to have a better game?

You're a fucking moron. Facebook Walmart Iowa Fan stupid fuck.
Maybe it will in the future. Shouldn't you just be glad it worked for Wieskamp. Why hasn't being a complete failure motivated you to do better?

I can't say I'm worried about CJ. The Maryland game was confounding, but the Minnesota game was a different story.

Would I like him to shoot more, yes. But how many shots do we expect him to get when Luka, Joe W and bohannon are all on their games? He got a couple of assists and rebounds, and didn't turn it over.

@26.2 Said in chat that was the case. I am guessing he is not wrong. Hopefully it is not something that will last the whole season.

This is the correct answer. There are only so many shots to go around. If he starts passing up quality looks, then it’s a different story. We don’t need him to hunt shots, but to take them when they’re their in the flow of the offense.

There are zero players to be worried about. They are all having anywhere from record breaking to fine seasons.

If you were going to pick someone to "worry" about, it would be Toussaint. He just isn't a point guard and I don't think he ever will be, but he's a better Anthony Clemmons and is a nice role player on a good team. Even a player like Nunge who has been pressing way too hard on the offensive end still goes out and gets 10 rebounds.
