Everything about Frans teams the last couple years just looked lazy as hell. Even in garbage time last night the Iowa players were guarding to the point that they were close enough to foul the shit out of Robert Morris.

I was there last night to take in the first game of the new era. They ran a defensive drill during the pregame warmup and I was all in. I loved what I saw. Stirtz is the real deal. Loved what I saw from Banks and Manyawu. Folgueiras has a nice shot. Love the way Isaia Howard hustles. McCollum repeatedly turned to get the crowd pumped up after a big play. I loved what I saw last night and cannot wait to see them play against a team with a pulse to see what we can do. Even though that #16 on RMU was a nice player and I would be stunned if he doesn’t get a bag to play somewhere else next season.

I thought Banks and Howard looked good. Cam scored some junk, but I wasn't impressed with him offensively, as much. I assume even if he keeps starting for the defensive presence that Folgueiras will continue to get more minutes.
