They don’t shoot 3s. They’re winning tonight but they’re only 3/9 from 3 while Maryland is 8/18. Most of their success comes down to whether Hood-Schifino is hitting 15 footers because TJD is going to get 20+ most nights. No one else on that team really does anything at all.

I’ve been saying this to a couple Hoosier buddies all year. You can’t go far in March only shooting 10 3’s a game. Even when down 20 most of the second half against Iowa, they only attempted one 3 until the scrubs came in.

Shaka has been a perfect match for Marquette but Tyler Kolek is a wizard with the ball and his offseason transformation into poor man’s Steve Nash has unlocked everything for them offensively. So fun to watch and they have the size and athleticism to lock down on defense when they need to like they did last night against UConn.

They've really let them play in these conference tournaments. The last few minutes of the ACC final. The entirety of the Big East final. Poor highly skilled, lily white Xavier just got bro balled to death by Marquette. The lack of foul calls in the BTT. And the Big 12 has been a buttfuck party.

I don't imagine the NCAA tournament being any better.

Athletic teams that are soft like Alabama and Duke aren't going to make runs. I don't like the Pac12 either.
