Nebrantska up 12 vs. MSU. If they hold on, would make them 7-1 in their last 8. Crazy

Pretty sure it would make them 6-1 in their last 7. Their home-road splits are Iowaish.
You’re right. They did win at Rutgers though, even if they caught them at the perfect time.

MSU is also threatening to pull away here, which I like.

I think this MSU team can make a run in the tourney. They have three 40%+ 3-point shooters in their lineup and they all seem to be playing well.

The idea for the hoops tourney came about after the Holiday Bowl promoted a football game between Notre Dame and Navy in San Diego in 2018.

The idea for the hoops tourney came about after watching holiday hoops tourneys for 100 years.

Rutgers wins its 'Senior Night' vs Northwestern this weekend

Iowa is the #2 seed in the BTT next week.

Does Michigan need to lose at least one?

Okay - if Iowa wins Sunday and gets a double bye and wins the quarters and semis, they’re getting a 5 seed. Seems fucking inconceivable.

That seems like a massive jump. Before last night’s game they were the last 8 seed.

I don't see it happening. Last year with the same record and winning the BTT only got them to a 6, but I guess everyone is shittier this year. PROVE ME WRONG JAMIE!!!!!

They’re on everyone’s 7 line right now. They’re gonna end a low 5 high 6 if they win 3 more.

Who has them as a 7? Bracket Project has them as last 8 ( don’t think includes last night’s games)

Some of that is because Murray is awesome, and Rebraca has made himself into a consistently good big ten player.

Just do one last thing, beat Nebrantska in Carver, and Iowa doesn't start competing in the BTT until a week from tomorrow night.

After losing to EIU & the 0-3 start to the conference season - and all 3 of those losses coming against teams that will either start play on BTT Wednesday or finish just above those spots in the standings - the season outlook was looking really fucking bleak. And then they turn it around to go 12-5 and end up the 2 or 3-seed in the BTT.

Amazing and Frantastic!

Why would the committee give Iowa the advantage of playing in Des Moines against a better seed? Apparently that’s possible but it doesn’t seem like something that would actually happen.

Iowa went 2-5 against the bottom four teams in the conference.
It's been an extremely weird season. Get smoked by Nebrantska in Lincoln and embarrassed by them on Senior Day at home.

I think 1 or 2 games removed from those, Iowa somehow crushes Indiana twice.
