Patio is the best part I think, but we stop whenever we're in Dubuque. Backpocket and 7 Hills as well. Really just a fantastic property for entertaining.
Yes the patio is great and its cool that the property and area has more options nearby. They just added (or at least since I was there last) an outdoor bar on the patio, which was needed. BTW Dolph was there schmoozing with the patrons. I should have asked him about Angerer.

he’s in the fourth year of a six-year, $3M extension. Basketball is a separate deal.
Somehow I missed this. You mean that in the year of our Lord 2020 someone thought Gary Dolphin should continue to announce football games???

I think Pat will be very good and I like the hire.

Not that it matters, but does Pat have any broadcasting experience?

Watched part of the clip of Kirk and my focus was on his drooping/lazy left eye. Probably been talked about before but seems more prominent now.
a rare case of QB blindness. He's had it for over 20 years and its getting worse.

Dochterman has an article coming out where he did an interview with Doyle.

Doyle and Kirk have not talked since he was fired. This includes the night Gallery was inducted into the college football Hall of Fame and they sat at the same table. For whatever reason, the Athletic is holding the article back.

What was Kirk's choice there? Did Doyle want him to quit in solidarity? I remember him getting shit for, if not defending doyle, coming close to it. Is my memory wrong?

I’m pretty sure Doyle is a fucking prick. Not that Kirk isn’t, but cmon man.

What little Dochterman said on the podcast, it sounded to me like Doyle was basically asked after 2007 to be a little stricter on the players after the Citi Boyz Inc. and Everson/Satterfield situations.

The problem was they never dialed it back and Doyle would have if Kirk asked but Kirk wasn’t really aware there was a problem. He assumed the players transferring were leaving because their outlook for playing time wasn’t great.

Sounds to me like Doyle liked it, and Kirk didn’t know what that prick was doing.

Cliffnotes, or timestamps, appreciated. Thank you!
42 min for iowa. Coaches also bitch about them being in 11 personal at all times.
30 min mark to talk about shitty staffs like Maryland.
Purdue defense will be good. Predicting Nebrantska to breakout. Kansas competing to win Allstate 12. Matt Campbell missed his chance.

OT but flipping channels and stopped on an episode of American Gladiators and one of the contestants was former Hawk JC Love Jordan. Unfortunately was not a great showing from him

If determined is the first fucking word that pops in his head then we’re not talking about a world beater here.
