the best example that comes to mind was years ago, when Iowa used to run a lot of wr screens....I think it was vs Purdue, they used the same formation, the same motion and faked the wr screen and instead of blocking, the TE (Dallas Clark IIRC) broke down like he was going to block, then turned upfield and was wide open for a TD pass.

not something that required a year to install, a tweak or wrinkle on a play they ran every week.

Those 2 home games are easily the best shot Iowa has had at knocking off a top ten opponent since 2021 Penn St. Getting routinely stomped in those games that Kirk traditionally at least kept competitive has gotten real old.
