2005 - Paul Chaney Jr. 10.52The research arm of the Hilton Institute did a search on Iowa 100M class champions over the last 40+ years and singled out some familiar names. Was mildly surprised not to see the name Dwight, but apparently he ran the 200 and relays. He holds the 200 meet record at 20.9. (Doll won 3A in 21.89 as a soph.)
1981- Treye Jackson- 10.80 (10.5 prelims- meet record)
1996- Matt Stockdale- 11.11
1997-98- Aaron Greving- 10.82, 11.23
2000- Hakim Hill- 10.88
2001- Marques Simmons - 10.63
2001-02- Adam Haluska- 10.84, 10.91
2002- Calvin Davis - 10.73
2003- Andy Brodell- 10.73
2011- Riley McCarron- 11.36
2022- Alex Mota- 10.71, Brevin Doll 10.74
Quick reaction time/10 yard burst and a 100 yard sprint are two entirely different things.I don’t care what that says, Greving was slow as fuck as a football player
I’m just glad that I landed in between his two times.I refuse to believe he’s fast in the 100. His start time was probably 10 seconds

That’s a solid tape job, not sure what it has to do with 100 times, but you keep up with your obsession.
Awesome in that Alamo Bowl win over Texas Tech though.Lol my first reaction was Aaron Greving???

And did average 5.6 a carry in 2001. Trying to run on a sprained ankle as he was doing in 2002 probably wasn't very conducive to his looking fast or quick.Awesome in that Alamo Bowl win over Texas Tech though.
I’ve never met a Carrie that wasn’t a scrub.2001 had multiple NFL starters on the OL and TE positions. I assume most of his Carrie’s were in scrub time

Maybe pay Wisconsin QBs to go out there every summer?I'd be okay with using NIL money to pay that guy to stay away from current and future Iowa QBs. I'm not sure I can think of any better use of those funds.
An excellent idea.Maybe pay Wisconsin QBs to go out there every summer?

Tonna Brix is better than Shitta BrixGrant "Shit a" Brix is the most highly sought after in state recruit (and an OL)
Backyard football isn’t quite as outrageous when the quarterback looks like he’s ready to invade Poland.Backyard football!
Lebensraum football?Backyard football isn’t quite as outrageous when the quarterback looks like he’s ready to invade Poland.
It’s their genetic right.Lebensraum football?
This is arousing. He's 6-4 205. He looks like he can add some bulk.I’ve heard the staff has agreed to let resar try his hand at qb, but they’re virtually certain he’ll be a TE.
Lower your expectations. Any athleticism and ability to create will either be coached out of him or he won’t play QB.This is arousing. He's 6-4 205. He looks like he can add some bulk.

Not at TE it won't be coached out of him. My expectations remain.Lower your expectations. Any athleticism and ability to create will either be coached out of him or he won’t play QB.

Yes, I’m sure this tiny-handed ginger is the answer at quarterback. This is arousing. He's 6-4 205. He looks like he can add some bulk.
