...thought they would be more. I don't think NIU is suppose to be very good.

I wonder how many points the AB/DD fiasco factored in to the line. I'd imagine the Hawks would be up at least 2 TDs without the off-field problems.

That number will probably be pretty close. I predict 21-10 Hawks.

My view is that's pretty accurate.

I'm thinking more in the 18-21 point range, but I'm an incurable optimist.

A 21-10 victory over a "not very good" NIU team...does that worry anyone?

I'm not worried - we'll need all the quality match-ups we can get, because teams like PSU are going to be very well-tested by similarly strong opponents like FIU, Temple, and Buffalo.

My opinion is that you should worry.

What are the odds that Iowa has a winning, or at least a non-losing season?

50-50?

I would say probably 60-40....I get a kick out of people of some boards predicting 9/10 wins.

Iowa typically starts off slow. Very slow, especially on offense. A winning season should be the goal.

Not really.

It's a road game whether or not you want to admit to that.

Just want the Hawkeyes to survive basically.

That's a bit odd.

If one doesn't worry about beating a "not very good" NIU team by 11 points that's one thing, but to want to "survive" doesn't ring alarm bells? Or does that worry you?

And by "survive" I assume you mean win by at least one point? What about ties?
