I only got to watch the last few minutes and watching what I missed now.

Everyone got really down on Iowa after CJ went out ad losing a bunch of coin flip games during a short stretch in the middle of a weird season with the caveat that the defense went to shit for that stretch. Lots of fluky crap happened in a couple of games.

It took a game longer than I thought, but Iowa looks like a team that can see the end of the regular season coming and they have learned how to play without CJ and have taken huge strides on defense the last 2 games.

When the "Fran Fade" actually happened in a couple of seasons, it wasn't really the defense that was the issue, it was the offense that stalled out and they never seemed like they could get it back.

That isn't the case this year. Even when they lost 4 of 5, the offense was still rolling all except for the 12 minute stretch against Indiana.

It is not super likely, but won't be surprised to see Iowa finish 4-1 (or 5-1) if they play the Nebrantska game as well.
