It does mean shit you fucking moron. If they get a #4 seed or higher in the BTT, that means they get a bye and have to play one entire less game.

If they get a #3 seed or higher, then they are playing a #14+ seed, meaning they very likely have a much easier game than if they get a #5 and have to play a dreaded #12 seed. It also means the second game if they are a #3 seed or better they play either a #6 or #7 seed instead of a #4 or #5 seed.

I sure in the fuck would rather play Eastern Washington or James Madison in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament rather than have to play a team like Xavier or Wichita State or UConn.
