It was sort of weird. They just beat Tennessee after losing to Colgate- all four teams were in the same initial pod last March.

JoeT being the starting point will be great for him. His job is to defend, get the ball inside to Luka or over to JoeW and CJ for 3s. He won’t need to force any scoring so I think we will see him play more under control than when he’s playing with guys like Kriener, Pemsl and Evelyn on the floor with him.

I think bohannon will be missed much more than the stats suggest. Toussant will be a fine contributor long-term but I'm not seeing the big difference-maker many are making him out to be. 5'10 guys who can't shoot are an easy scout for big ten teams.

I think bohannon will be missed much more than the stats suggest. Toussant will be a fine contributor long-term but I'm not seeing the big difference-maker many are making him out to be. 5'10 guys who can't shoot are an easy scout for big ten teams.

The defense will improve and he can create shot opps for other players. It will also be nice to have someone who can beat someone off the dribble with the shot clock expiring

Nah, bohannon was shooting 32% from 3, 21% from 2, couldn't push it in transition and couldn't move defensively. Providing floor spacing only goes so far. His production can easily be replaced. As others have mentioned expiring shot clock situations along with end of half/game situations should be much better with Toussaint. A few more turnovers and bohannon's free throws at the end of games are really the only things that will be worse.
