I never actually felt good about the Purdue game. Feel good about this one similar to the one where Olasaeni dunked all over Assembly Hall and broke their spirit.

The game will be decided by the under 12 timeout if Indiana has hit three 3s or not

Of fucking course a guy comes off the bench and hits 6/7 or 6/8 on threes for them.

Of. Fucking. Course.

And the refs letting IU go over the back like its a stat to keep track of.

Holy hell.

Get a little run, down to 11, and Till props up IU again.

Riley's been one of IU's best advantages tonight.

And watching him try to play D? Overplays and gets beat every. single. time.

I like Wieskamp, a lot.

But Iowa's last real chance of stealing the game tonight was lost because he casually walked a couple steps, with his hands at shoulder height, to defend the hottest shooter on the planet tonight to allow yet another 3.

That game was over the minute Green came on the court for the first time in the 1st half.

He was 'microwave' from the start and then hit 4-4 threes and a couple of them were not stand-still easy looks. Got going and never stopped.

Kriener hasn't been good for like 3 weeks. With the limited depth, that's killing us. Joe T. has been bad in 4 of the last 5 games. Bakari had a few buckets but some awful turnovers. There's just zero depth at this point and CJ's injury exacerbated that.

Garza, JW, JT, Connor, RK, BE and Pemsl are literally it for Iowa, when CJF is ailing. Then its deep bench guys like Till and Ash.

God. Its both agonizing to know that^ and amazing to see this team be 8-6/17-8, ranked, and only 2.5 games out of 1st place in the conference when its only got 2* reliable scorers [Garza, and half for Wieskamp (doesn't assert himself enough) and half for CJ (ankle problems have hampered his ability to be truly reliant)].

Toussaint was SO bad.

I really hope Luka can see what could be on the horizon next year and want to come back for a special senior year and cement a huge legacy but on a night like tonight, he's gotta be so frustrated and pissed.
Has to be just as frustrating for a guy like JBo. Knowing if everyone (but Pemsl & Till) come back next year, what a special year it could be.

But then games like tonight and last week @ PU happen, CJF gets hurt (dinged at least) again, and he's gotta be worried if Garza doesn't want to chance anything and go to the pros after having a great breakout season in this one.
