Yes, and he was #2 reason Iowa lost. He was fucking garbage.
Perhaps but Touissant didn’t play in the second half I don’t think.

Jordan played the entire 2nd half again, went 3 for 9, after 0 for 9 against IN last game, 3 for 18 combined,

pmac was awful on offense but his minutes never wavier, Joe’s mistake find him on the bench for an eternity. Nunge was terrible on offense and lost multiple times on defense.

if you don’t want to play Joe fine, maybe try Ulis, even if he’s on the court with jordan. Sit Connor

O boards, turnovers and sitting Garza for 12 minutes.

That's it. That's the answer.

1. Why do you hate coaches so much?

2. Why do you so badly want Joe T to be the answer to every question?
I hate poor coaching.

i dont care if Ulis or Perkins played. Iowa has the slowest guards in all of college hoops, including D3.

Connor wouldnt start on Dougs intramural team.

Guys penetrating and creating offense will sometimes make shitty passes and turn the ball over. The alternative is you can have guys out there getting smothered defensively on the perimeter because they are zero threat to penetrate.

The argument really shouldn't be joe vs Jordan. It should be joe/Ulis vs Connor.

Fran is going to flip-out at some point, it's going to be spectacular.

Fran playing those guys through the 9-0 run is a fuck you to fans and media.

"See, this why I can't play them".

So dumb.

With CJ out Ulis and Perkins should be the first ones off the bench. Jack should only come in for Garza. Connor can handle the 4 when Keegan is out. JoeT’s and Pat’s minutes need to drop. Tighten up the lineups, and play less zone.
I delight in you proposal. Make this happen.

Is Fran ever going to make defense an emphasis?
No. And this isn’t football where you can bring in a great coordinator. The team takes on the identity of the head coach. Also need to recruit guys who are actually interested in playing defense.

They played really good defense the first 7 minutes of the game. Inspired and energetic.

1-3 in close games this year right? That’s coaching.

Up 61-58 around 2 minutes left and your senior pg makes the exact same mistake your sophomore guard made against Minnesota by going under instead of over the screen. Tie game. How is it that hard to coach a player to understand time and score and how you defend the situation is different?

Fran is entering Dr Tom circa 1997 territory.

Im not mad this time. Apathetic.

How can the same guys who were so gritty last year be so fucking soft this year?

Jordan is too busy playing Fortnite, podcasting, and getting parking tickets

15-6 on the offensive glass. Fucking woof. That’s basically the game right there, especially in a game where Indiana shot pretty shitty.

No. That logic works for the fact that the game shouldn’t have been close, not for the specific record in close games once they got close.
True. I guess 50/50 is the answer. Doesn’t feel right.
