59-59 with 5:20 left. Iowa finally gets it tied and Thorn Torboaelfjag comes down on back to back possessions and hits NBA threes. Score is 65-61 and Pemsl has an atrocious turnover.

66-70 with 1:05 left against a terrible free throw shooting team. Fran puts in Till who for whatever reason easily gets beat deep for a dunk and a foul. It was a panic move. Iowa was only down 4 and if you play a mild press there and then foul you are fine. There was no need to go all out for a steal.

Still, even with that he misses the free throw and Garza/Wieskamp have point blank shots to still only be down 4 with 38 seconds left. They miss and then turn it over. Game over.

There's going to be some games like this. Not enough shooters without Nunge, Jbo, and now CJ and the offense can be stagnant. It sucks but it's the current roster construct. Toussaint is just too out of control in tight situations, but he has to play. There's going to be a lot of growing pains but there's only going to be a handful of games where Iowa shoots poorly. Unfortunately it happened in one of the easiest remaining games.

Watching some of the game back, and Wieskamp was doing essentially fake hustle on the offensive end. He didn't want the ball most of the time. He floated way away from the ball and wouldn't come hard to the ball to get it when he had the chance.

I've never seen a really good offensive player so terrified as he was in the first half when he found no other option than to shoot the ball in the lane when the defender flew by. There was also multiple times he got a rebound and could have easily gone right back up and passed out of the lane.

Played like a reluctant coward much of the night.
