This is a fascinating game, really.
Drake went and beat Ill State in Illinois the first week of the season, and while they needed a freak play to win it, they were in that game start-to-finish. Ill State was, at the time, ranked higher...but ask Michigan what pre-season rankings are worth.
UNI might be much better then Ill State, we'll find out next Saturday.
I view this game like UNI playing Iowa.
Drake goes to Ill State like UNI goes to Iowa State...believing they can win simply by being the better team.
UNI goes to play Iowa, and there is almost no expectation to win, outside of the Appy State type "perfect storm." I think Drake sees UNI in a similar light, that it would just take a perfect confluence of events to win that thing.
