Fire Brian hurr durr

I am okay with Brian's performance, but that's a little misleading since scoring is up so much in general. that offense PPG ranked #47 in FCS, it would have been #27 in 2002 (the 37.2 PPG was #7). they've had other offensive seasons that had fewer PPG but 10+ spots higher in rank because scoring is stupid anymore.

Hey we should totally do an in-depth statistical analysis by looking at data across all college football and not the tempo at which football is played within the big 10.

He’s much better than Greg.

As an offensive mind, he’s probably top third of the league.

That NW effort was horrible, but occasional turds will be laid.

Iowa was #5 in PPG in the giant douche this year. the median offense was 28.9 PPG.

Iowa was #2 in PPG in the B10 in 2008. They only averaged 30.3 PPG. the median offense was at 25.1 PPG.

the increase in scoring hasn't avoided the B10 at all. Iowa led the B10 in scoring defense this year at 17.4 PPG, 10 years ago they did the same at 13.0 PPG. there used to be 2 or 3 B10 teams to finish at 14.0 PPG or better, no one has done that since Wisconsin in 2015.

Stanley probably thinks if he enters the draft he'll have to go fight in Vietnam.

My hope for Stanley is that the thumb was a much bigger issue than was let on. If not we might be in for a long year

Given he didn't hurt his thumb until he looked like a scared pussy most of the Penn State game, I would say he has going from stud with balls to mental midget.

So does anyone actually know what's up with Nixon?

Last I read was he hasn't practiced with the team since October, some are speculating it's just for him to focus on school, but that sounds like a stretch.

Ryen Russillo had Todd McShay on one of his podcasts last week talking draft shit and he started going over the QBs and said something like "Nate Stanley is another one.....will likely be going back to school next year but will be very underrated looking at next year's draft.....could be second or third round."

I like Nate but just don't see it.

Granted this is coming from the man who once had Mitch Leidner as a first round pick at one point.

He’s got the physical abilities, but appears to be a habitual pants shitter anytime the pocket is not perfectly clean.
