Purdue’s crossovers are Rutgers and Indiana.

I love to rip on Wisconsin's schedule usually, but it isn't nearly as easy as usual.

They have to play @Michigan, @Nebrantska and @Iowa

Ohio State gets Nebrantska and Illinois as its crossover opponents, while Michigan gets Minnesota and Wisconsin. Seems fair.

And honestly, nobody really knows how it's going to play out. The season will look so different it's impossible to know at this point who really has an easy schedule.

Purdue should absolutely be a dark horse team in the West. Facing them the first game on the road with the way Brohm has given Phil Parker fits is less than ideal.
Could work out though as defense is usually ahead of the offense early in the season.

In case anyone was wondering what ISU fans think of Iowa’s schedule:

it’s just amusing at this point considering how blatantly inaccurate this is. If only someone came up with some sort of metric for the difficulty of a teams schedule. That would be nice; and we could stop having this stupid banter...

Well obviously, but Wisconsin doesn't play Ohiya St or Hounded State and cross over with Michigan and Indiana. And OSU gets Nebrantska and Illinois. Id be happy with that unknown.

Except Wisconsin’s schedule is super easy, and Iowa’s is obviously much more difficult.

PSU and Wisconsin are the plays there. Iowa is horrible either.

Purdue on an 80:1 flyer isn't terrible either, at least if Rondale Moore might come back. Certainly more likely than Maryland who are at the same odds.

The worst picks: Michigan State and Maryland, then maybe Nebrantska.

Although Ohio State is the clear favorite, -250 seems like a poor value also.

13 teams listed. Rutgers off the board.

I'd like to see Purdue's odds to win the West.

Consider taking Purdue +8000 and if (big if but possible) they win the West laying off on the East opponent. There seems to be a lot of value on betting the West teams, and none on betting the East besides Penn State.

I don't understand the Nebrantska love, seriously. What has changed from that 5-7 team last year to make them such a high betting favorite again?

Also facing Ohio State and Penn State, would likely have to beat one of them and run the West, then would likely have to defeat one of those teams again on December 19th.

Is there a distinct home advantage when it is 100 parents for each team in the stadium?

Louisville has 12,000 at their game last night and there was BEYOND enough room to distance safely.

anything less than 35-40% capacity For these games is asinine
I get that not everyone is cool with the “fuck it” strategy, but a lot of important people that are claiming SCIENCE!!! are not actually following any sort of science.

Attempting a serious answer, QB and OL should be improved, possibly by quite a bit. (Did Martinez just have some injuries and an inconsistent team, or did he become a longer term head case? Will he even be the guy moving ahead?) The RB is excellent.

No clue on the new WR corps and defense, however.

Iowa has needed walk-off field goals to win the last two games, so there isn't some unbridgeable gulf head to head.
