What's on the menu for the fall?

I've been thinking about spicy Big Macs. Jalapeños instead of pickles, sriracha and peppers in the special sauce on a pretzel bun. I'm about 100% confident that'd be a fantastic burger.

If you cook it, football will come.

Although I can eat a pretzel bun I prefer a regular bun or sesame bun. Kwik Star has some very good Kaiser buns or something like that I am a fan of.

Pretzel buns are terrible, mostly because people insist using them on the burgers and sandwiches that are already loaded with ingredients and combined with the hard pretzel bun you bite down and get an oozing smashed mess everywhere.

Jethros uses Rotella’s premium burger buns for their sandwiches which Hy-Vee and Fareway both carry. Those are my favorite but I do like a pretzel bun

Honestly just followed this recipe to a t. https://leitesculinaria.com/106433/recipes-pretzel-rolls.html. Oh except I added a butter wash on the top right before I baked them.

I had one with one artery’s worth of butter. They taste as good as they look. I’m not a baker, but these were easy as shit and they taste great.

I made mayo at lunch so I’ll add the spicy stuff tomorrow and make the burger.
