MessDAWG has been a real wildcard recently. He makes the rascals look tame.

Good for him. The first 2 guys to play that Cash position for Iowa have both left early and gotten drafted. Both have ended up sticking in the NFL and I think Belton is closer to Hooker and will get drafted in the mid-rounds and have a good career.

Iowa is also deep enough and Phil is a great enough coach that they will plug a talented guy in there and be good next year.

According to my sources, Kakert says Linderbaum is 50/50. Literally.

Kirk has had so many players make the league or win various awards that when a player like Belton comes back in 20 years to be an honorary captain the reaction will be ‘fuck I forgot about him, he was damn good too.’

I honestly think Belton will be the best of the 3 mentioned.

Get on those hotel reservations before the hotels update their websites.

I’m most excited for any matchup where I don’t have to watch Spencer Petras wearing anything but a red cap.

Ohio State starts with 5 straight home games, and plays their second road game on October 29th.

Was minnesota pushed back? thought it was 9/24?
This link says the schedule was revised due to the 2020 season, but I don't entirely understand it. Says it affects next year as well.

"The Big Ten Conference announced a revised 2022 Big Ten football schedule today that will complete a two-year alignment to game locations that resulted from changes in the pandemic-influenced 2020 schedule.

The Big Ten’s Administrators Council, which includes the directors of athletics and senior women administrators from all 14 member institutions, approved the revisions."

are there no mid-season friday games, or will those be determined later?

From that link:

"Please note that select games from Saturday will be adjusted, to either Thursday or Friday, as in past seasons. Previously released schedules will also be modified in the future as a result of adjustments to the 2020 football schedule."

I know the answer is $$...but how the hell do OSU and Michigan get by with only 4 total road games? Purdue has 6.

East plays five home games this year is part of it. Then it’s just how teams schedule OOC.

Too early for this to be my official prediction, but as of now, I say Iowa finishes 7-5.

Losses to: Michigan, Ohio State, Wisconsin, and 2 losses between (Purdue/Minnesota/Illinois/Nebrantska). 3-0 non-conference.

5-7 or 6-6 are definitely possible, as is 8-4 or even 9-3. Iowa will have a better running game, and another very solid defense.
