Meh. He was fine. Ball sticks with him A LOT. Thelwell was good tonight, and Tadjo gave good minutes. Thought Dembele played some solid D thought UNH was so bad it was hard to tell how much of it was his positioning or their general shittiness at basketball.

Dix is the best player for the Hawks when he’s in there. Elder Sandfort makes me want to gouge my eyes out. C Koch has a lightning quick release.

Very true. Similar experience last night with some of the players on the women’s team. We sat near Olsen, Guyton, and Mallegni. As soon as they sat down they were asked for pictures and autographs by several kids/families (didn’t see any old creepers which was nice). They happily did it for everyone. Security came up and asked if they were good or wanted to move because of the attention and they stayed put for quite awhile.

Sioux Falls game was one of the more fun Iowa games I've attended the last several years. They hung around with fans for a long time after the game. Felt like a high school game, honestly.

This is part of the reason that I find the attendance issues so weird. Granted, we have a strong local connection, but even before the fart bros played the local kids absolutely loved iowa basketball. I don’t know if it was just having fun players like Keegan, Luka, Jorbo or what. The parents seem to be completely failing their kids by not taking them to games. But God knows, Johnny needs to get up some extra shots instead of going to watch the Hawks in person.
