It's too bad Brian didn't figure out what he should have been doing all along was exactly what he did yesterday. A ton of play action mixed with power running and mixed in the right way. Sprinkle in getting the ball to athletes in space and you get 400+ yards of offense.

Iowa never needed someone to throw for 300+ yards and 3 TD's, we needed yesterday. 225 yards, 1 TD, move the ball and get a few FG's and a couple of TD's. 17-20 points from the offense are all that is needed.

Yesterday was a perfect Iowa football game. Sad he took so long to figure it out.

He didn't figure anything out. He pulls a competent game out of his ass on occasion. He's more likely to score 10 points next week than 22. Prove me wrong!

Yeah I forgot about Illinois because my mind left them for dead. They are still alive somehow
This gives Iowa a 94% chance of winning the Western Douche. Apparently Northwestern, Minnesota, and Wisconsin all have the smallest of chances as well.

ESPN has it slightly different, with Wisconsin having a better chance than Illinois, and Northwestern and Minnesota at no chance.

Bacon completed a few passes downfield and it made everything easier. It's the same as Peaches, if he completed a handful of passes the offense looked better. The problem is having 2 fucking awful QB's that over stretches couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Combined with Brian's general lack of ability to have a good game plan that builds off of successful plays or being able to adjust.

Seemed like the game finally slowed down for Hill in the second half.

Was Leshon banged up I'm assuming? His running style fits way better than Patterson and certainly way better than Johnson with this line. Johnson just runs way too tall and can't shed any tackles.
He was banged up. He talked with the trainers twice after coming off the field. After the second time, they just chose to sit him for the rest of the game.

Just returned from a glorious day at Kinnick. Nice to witness a complete team win.

Not sure how he looks on TV, but Kaleb brown is significantly quicker than anyone else on the field. (Most of the dumbasses in my section kept yelling coop every time he made a play not realizing there are two #3s.

Bacon still awful, but making some strides
It is noticeable on TV as well.

I didn't realize Brown was such a unit until this game. He's got that mass that causes would-be tacklers to bounce off him harmlessly. Must not be replaced by anyone. Must play at all times.

He was a high school RB at St Rita who has had some success in Chicagoland. He's got a high ceiling if he figures out the WR position and Iowa finds some non-retards to coach him.
