I didn't know the state of Florida even had two stars. Diamond in the rough! We just got a commitment from FL WR Adrian Falconer.
Nice name.
I bet he's got a great punchWe just got a commitment from FL WR Adrian Falconer.

6A (third largest in FL). This includes from powerhouses like Seffner Arwood and Jacksonville Ed White. What kind of competition did he play against?
Wife and I stopped at the bar in Hills (just south of IC) last night to see a friend that works there. While we were there 5-6 darker skinned patrons came in and started cranking up country music on the jukebox. Our friend that works there said they'll get shitfaced and sing old country songs (Keith Whitley, etc) all night long.He apparently had tickets to the Brad Paisley concert. Potential cornball brotha?Justin Hilliard will announce sometime this month, per his twitter account.
He plays to the whistle, I'll give him that.
I think Boyle could be a good college QB. His numbers might not look great this year as Dowling lost just about all its yards on offense except Boyle from last year's state champs. Don't know whether they've brought in some new souls to save who can chip in on the gridiron a la Gafford last year.
FIFY.I think Boyle could be a good college LB.
Why does everyone think this? Is the conversion that easy for a kid who hasn't taken a snap at any other position in HS? Are his stats bad @ QB? Has the staff indicated he may have a future elsewhere?FIFY.I think Boyle could be a good college LB.
I found some of his junior highlights on Hudl. A bit of a hard one to project, IMO. Based on what I can tell on film, he has decent speed for a LB. More importantly, he has a pretty good nose for the football and he plays with a high motor, which is always great. But there's just something odd about watching him -- the position doesn't look as natural to him as you typically see. Maybe he converted to LB, or maybe he is a late-comer to organized football. He has a lot of wasted motion as well, but hopefully that's correctable with good coaching.LB Justin Jinning from TX committed to Iowa.
From what little I have seen of him that's what I kinda thought as well. The coaches are telling him that he reminds them of Kirksey.

There is nothing to buckle up for and even if he somehow did pick Iowa, it will be another 7 months of constant stories of how he is still being recruited by every top level team and is still going to use his official visits at other schools.Buckle up, boyz.
Yeah, it's the main reason I stopped following football recruiting. Half the players commit 4 times and the other half never pan out anyway. There is nothing to buckle up for and even if he somehow did pick Iowa, it will be another 7 months of constant stories of how he is still being recruited by every top level team and is still going to use his official visits at other schools.Buckle up, boyz.
It would be so much better if the finally put an August signing period in.
I stopped following it for the most part after last year. Like anything, I still pay attention when someone commits or there is a rumor here and there, but putting any stock in a guy above 3 stars is meaningless until there is an early signing period. I am pretty sure that is finally going to happen next year.Yeah, it's the main reason I stopped following football recruiting. King is the exception that happens about 1% of the time.... and then you have Des King who commits in January of 2013 (switch from a MAC school) and is starting by October 2013.
It might be different if Iowa was Alabama, Florida State or Ohio State, but we're not. We've (probably smartly) mostly targeted guys who are projected 2-3 years down the line.
Feverishly, that's how.How could Iowa keep recruiting Iowa State commits with an early signing period??
Cornell announcing Wednesday, too.
I'm pretty sure its not us if for no other reason than our icon is a rubber duck.
