At least this year only a few games have a chance of not being on actual tv. My guess is the 2 exhibition games on BTN2Go, the Gardner-Webb on BTN, Coppin State on BTN2Go and UMKC/Western Illinois/Tennessee Tech on some combo of ESPNU/ESPN3/BTN/BTN2Go.

Everything else should be on BTN/ESPN.

Some decently big news from Dayton, Iowas first round opponent in Orlando. Their leading returning scorer will not be eligible to play until December 22. That Dayton game is huge for SOS and in getting the opportunity for bigger wins.

Uhl seemed to be tentative on his drives and finishes last year. He'll be able to get by his defender regularly if he's playing the four, and he's confident with his dribble moves. Looking forward to see his progress.

Uhl is going to be a stud. You could see it from his high school film that he had the most NBA like frame he could grow into despite at the time being fairly skinny.

I think Moss has the same sort of pro frame on him.

I think there's a natural worry about wondering who is "next"- after Gatens, Marble, White, and Uthoff. But there's more to it than coincidence that Iowa basketball is all of the sudden seeing an infusion of offensive talent and scoring ability. Fran has done a tremendous job in developing players and using particular skill sets within his offensive framework. I have no doubt that there are going to be more of these top 20 all time scorers before he retires here.

Basically, I think we should get used to having an alpha dog/All Big Ten performer nearly every year, because it's likely going to be the norm under Fran as he continues to land higher quality recruits.

The Uhl NBA scout stuff was from last season. Scouts came in to watch practice to see White and Uthoff but after watching, Uhl was the one they were buzzing about to the staff. Dochterman was just repeating that on Thursday.

It doesn't change the overall point though. Uhl flashed a lot of potential last year with his size, frame and ability and has added what looks like 20 pounds of good weight.

There were so many times last year when Uhl would drive the ball into the lane and get his shoulder past the defender, only to hesitate. The ability is there, he just needs to play with confidence.
