Probably was able to come in and play well at Dartmouth given the conference and overcome his natural abilities given the level of competition. With his Lake Forest upbringing and his ability to take it outside and shoot from 3, would think Northwestern might be a better fit than Illinois. Not suggesting he's gonna be a rainmaker for anyone at the Big level. But we had so much dialog about him and his awkward recruitment figured it was relevant to share this...and as I mentioned, personally wouldn't be surprised if he ends up at one of those two schools. I don't think you leave Dartmouth and then go mid major, but who knows given how bad Dartmouth was while he was there.

his quick graduation from dartmouth is a strong indicator that he is, however, quite bright, so what he should really do is find the best master's program he can get into, and call that university's basketball coach.

Williams quits, Connor has mono and Jordan having foot issues would be hilariously bad.

I didn't get to follow this but it seems our two freshman won this game for us.

From the play by play the difference in this game is that every time Iowa got a couple/three baskets in a row, Grambling not just responded but hit a three every time. A few of those miss early and it probably plays out differently - "that's basketball".

So you're basically saying Ellingson is meh. I think we all know what he was coming into the year which was a good role player but now he's been forced to play PG. Moss looked good and so did Dailey in limited minutes. I'm not sure who else you could be talking about. As long as the guards stay healthy this team is fine.

If he stays healthy he will be. Predicting that the consensus #1 pick that teams actively tanked to get and he is starting off at a historic pace and you can tell from watching him for about 5 minutes he is special is not an overreaction. It is a pretty safe prediction.
