I got them at 9-2 in the non conference with wins over Iowa state, Pitt and UNI and losing both games in NYC.

In conference I have them at 11-9 in the regular season for an overall record of 20-11. That should put them firmly on the bubble at about a 6 seed in the giant douche tourney. One win there should likely get them in at 21-12.

I've got 18-15. Love the addition of Wieskamp, but I think the lack of a true PG and the terrible defense are going to make for another frustrating season. Hopefully I have to eat crow at the end of the season.

It will be important for the I am a giant douche to show well in the non conference. A stronger I am a giant douche will give a much needed boost to Iowa’s resume.

The AP only has 3 teams in the top 25 which seems to imply the conference is weak but there are 4 more teams not far behind so there really isn’t any major strength at the top. Those seven teams need to perform well in November and December to help the Hawks.

He will, but that doesn't mean he should be.

My usual disclaimer on this - I love Fran and hope he retires at Iowa. But three years for an established coach without a tourney bid should be completely unacceptable at Iowa without some sort of catastrophic injuries, etc.
