I don’t like the idea of bohannon coming back, but if he does I hope it’s as a shooting guard who can dribble, rather than a slow point guard who can shoot.
With CJ gone and Garza not there to necessitate Connor feeding the post, yeah if bohannon is back I hope it's in a role where Ulis gets more PG time and bohannon plays the 2.

Biggest game of they hear and they had to bench him for the final 12 minutes. Just because he can come back, doesn't mean Iowa should let him come back. Huge mistake if they do.
I would bring him and Connor of the bench if I absolutely had to, but starting both of them next year with this roster would be a disaster.

The real danger is what in the hell is bohannon's motivation going to be and how does that poison the rest of the team. If I thought he was coming back so he could make up for his shitty play at the end of the year, then maybe.

He's coming back because he wants a public forum to push NIL as much as humanly possible. Fuck that shit.

And you know that if they are both back, they are starting. Not a chance bohannon comes off the bench.

Good job of following directions
I agree that it sucks for Kakert/247, etc. But the honor system of not sharing premium content is equally disastrous in a world where twitter and other message boards exist. Relying on people to have good morals is a poor business model.

Ultimately I’m really not sure how much it actually hurts Eickholt when people share his scoop. The people who are going to subscribe will probably continue to subscribe.

I hope he's coming back to be the most annoying cocksucker possible to other teams. Attempting roughly 250 threes and making 43% of them. "Oh my god, how is he still at Iowa!?!"

This place is way different than the other boards anyways. Yeah, I probably shouldn't have said anything, but it's not like there weren't suspicions already.

It is very hard to make information your product. Content can be a product. Speed or access can be a product too I guess.

Without knowing who they are even talking to as a shooter in the portal, bohannon as the shooting guard, replacing CJ is basically a pretty even swap.

Bringing him back as the point guard would be pretty idiotic when you don’t have a glaring hole on your team there.

I also don’t think bohannon would count against the scholarship limit correct?

getting back to Robbins, evidently his GF is an Instagram star and she preferred he to be in Nashville as it's easier for her to promote herself there...

I would be excited if he plays off the ball and Ulis and JT are given the keys to run the point
This. I think it all comes down to Fran making sure Jordan is returning knowing full well that his role is going to be different. If that’s the case I’m fine with it. He can shoot and this team in particular needs shooters.

Nothing says know his role like a breakaway three pointer that clanged off the rim

I’ll pay Jordan enough money, and put off early retirement by doing so, to gtfo.

Let's be honest, if Fran picked up a player in the portal with bohannon's numbers we would be beating our dicks raw. Him coming back could be huge if he is in a different role, an off ball shooter who plays D alongside Joe T, Ulis, and Perkins. Not CJ. Easier to hide one shitty defender than two

This is not about his numbers.

If I'm Fran I tell him he's only welcome back if he's not going to be a distraction off-court.

I don't think he can do it, and I think that's the only reason he'd want to come back, and so I hope he's done.

Jordan coming back is the equivalent of picking up Brad Davison from the portal. They are both very dislikable but for different reasons, obviously. But I don’t want either of them associated with a team a cheer for.

JBo will definitely come back for a sixth year, if only to continue to advance his personal NIL agenda. Without his Iowa Hoops bully pulpit, he is essentially irrelevant. At least we won’t be hearing about the NCAA gift bags and the ransomed NCAA tournament lockerroom rug, because they won’t be anywhere near the Big Dance next season. His returning for a 6th year is a shame, as it will hamper the high ceilings for both Ulis and JT.

It would be a negative on so many levels, not the least of which is perhaps frustrating another player over their PT and causing them to transfer.

Next year’s team will be mediocre with or without bohannon. There is no reason to risk him creating problems.

Connor and JBo in the backcourt at the same time next season would most certainly make Dickie V’s all Nursing Home team, with one healthy hip joint out of four between the two of them.

At least Davison plays his ass off on the court. Even if he’s a dirty cheating bitch, I think I’d prefer that to a whiny bitch quitter

Our fanbase is so fucking overreactionary. I honestly see very little reason to look at next year‘s roster and not be excited. Are there a shitload of unknowns? Sure. But Fran can fucking coach and he will change his style to fit his roster. I am also personally excited to see Sandfort likely stepping into a more important role that he probably expected when he signed. He can seriously fucking shoot. It would not surprise me to see him have a surprise freshman your impact similar to CJ.

I'm expecting some in the fan base to be total assholes about Jordan coming back. Never mind, it's already happening. Trust in Fran

Ehh, I really think people will be much happier about this outside of Halo, and I say that as someone who really hopes he doesn't come back.
