Due to family circumstances I have 3 college basketball teams: Iowa, Marquette (2 siblings are grads and I live in Milwaukee) and Arizona State (Wife alma mater). All 3 teams are fun as hell to watch but so fucking stupid. The finishes to all 3 games today were infuriating. ASU takes the cake tho. It doesn’t matter the sport or the coach, ASU is so undisciplined but talented. It isn’t possible to happen but you couldn’t set the line high enough for a potential 7-10 Iowa ASU matchup or Iowa/ASU vs Marquette 2nd round matchup.

The "Big 12 sucks" commentary is premature and completely dependent on how the tournament will be called this year.

If it's a rape fest like last year, the Big 12 will absolutely be the best league in the tournament. It's the most physical and "athletic" conference in the country.

That said, this NCAA tournament will be completely wide open. Kansas looks like the best team, but their coach just had a grabber, Dick has been super inconsistent, and they lack athleticism

If the Hawks aren't a 7, and if it didn't mean an opening round game in Dayton, I would take an 11 seed for Iowa in a heartbeat!

Would have to take on a 6, which is basically nearly a 7 in a year like this, and then - if survive - get a 3 (or 14) vs a 1 or 2 in the second round.

1. There are an incredible amount of terrible teams in college basketball.

2. One of the funky things about the NET system is that losing can help you more directly than it could under the RPI
