Those black kids in the crowd look like they’ve never seen a white boy dunk before.

I noticed Pete Moe is averaging 23 and 8 for ICW, 40% 3pt and 80% FT

Much less of a latfg w/o the glasses

I like the aggression on the defensive end. Seems fairly mobile. Legit size and frame. Perhaps he can be a heady inside presence like Woodbury with a little more shot blocking ability. I've come to appreciate that (because obviously you only get a Garza once a lifetime or so)

He will forever be this guy to me. Fran has recruited some goofy looking bastards that have been good ballplayers so I will say nice pickup.

Really like the Mulvey pickup. These seem to be the remaining targets with offers who are most likely to end up in Iowa City. I'm only listing players who have expressed legitimately high interest in Iowa. I didn't list bigs like Tarris Reed and Will Shaver under the assumption that the staff will only have room for one big in the 2022 class at this point.

Forward
Kyle Filipowski

Tyler Nickel

Braeden Moore

247: #52
Rivals: #125

Ahjany Lee
6-8 | Byron HS, MN
247: #109
Rivals: #122

I'm going to pass on Braeden, although I enjoyed his flagrant foul at the start of his video. The rest seem like they could fit into what Fran wants to do.

Filipowski or Nickel plus Schutt and Bowen would be outstanding. Schutt seems like he might be the toughest of the group, Bowen seems most likely.

Agreed. The competition is going to be stiff for Schutt. The best chance may be if Illinois fills up on the wing with players ranked higher. Steven Kramer from Johnston or Josh Dix from CBAL may eventually get an offer at this spot.

It's been interesting to see the staff really start to get some good traction with prospects from the East Coast prep schools. Ogundele, Mulvey, Bowen, Filipowski and some 2023 guys Iowa sits well with are all part of that circuit. I know they've been trying to crack that nut for a long time. Nice to see their efforts start to pay off more.

Mulvey seemed to indicate that Iowa would only take one big and thus not Filipowski, which seemed odd/disappointing as Filipowski seems like 4 where as Mulvey as 5 (like Garza/Nunge class)

TJ is working Lipsey hard for a commit. Not sure Iowa has been very involved, but would be nice to finally get an Ames High star to go to ISU again.

Campbell is good. Not sure either him or lipsey are HM point guards on top 25 teams though.

I'm wrapping all my hopes and dreams and self confidence into Iowa landing Bowen.
