A Google search tells me it was a major coal town in the late-19th century whose population peaked around 3,500 but has since dwindled to the mid-600s. It appears that this is representative of What Cheer, Iowa:

I passed through What Cheer quite frequently 30 years ago. What have I missed in the last 30?
Rural Iowa, in general, has taken what seems to be a rather significant hit, as people leave to more urban areas. Southern Iowa seems to be hit particularly hard, What Cheer included. But they do have a Casey's.

This might be my favorite post ever.
Fair, and I deserver any and all ridicule.

However, Ashton is a truly bad name, and the fact that it doubled in popularity as Ashton rose to prominence is an indictment on humanity. All I'm saying is post-it notes were a mistake too.

Not so fast on Raridon to ND. Sounds like they're in with a TE they have higher on their board and already have another.

Absolutely. A legit 10.6 would be fast for a wr or rb.
For the KF era it would include Andy Brodell and maybe James Townsend. 10.68 strikes me as being Ihmir's PR. Emmanuel Ogwo might have done a 10.5. (Too bad he didn't stay and continue as a track man.)

Willies, Ihmir and Moss were sub 14 second hurdlers.
