Better to accept that now than after he's on scholarshipI was looking at Jack McCaffery’s stats today and was pretty disappointed other than tons of blocked shots.

He finished the season at 40% from three (48/122) and 71% from the free throw line (130/182). I was much more impressed by his shooting form and quickness than his “brute strength”.Pryce has a lot more skill. Omaha has a lot of natural ability. The many times I’ve watched him and didn’t score by any other means than brute force.
Not me.We all in on this Eva Braun?
he made 2 threes in a game when I watched him as a soph, and 2 3’s in a recent game. His misses were brutal. He finished the season at 40% from three (48/122) and 71% from the free throw line (130/182). I was much more impressed by his shooting form and quickness than his “brute strength”.
But can’t complain about Pryce winning Mr Basketball with the stats he put up. I’d still rather have Omaha, for his better name if nothing else (but also for everything else)
Where do you think he’ll be playing? G League? I’ve heard that from semi- reliable sources. I think he’ll be in Ames.he made 2 threes in a game when I watched him as a soph, and 2 3’s in a recent game. His misses were brutal.
but, he is quite the physical specimen. I will believe he plays for ISU when I see him on the actual court.
yes. G-League, but obviously NIL makes college a different animal now.Where do you think he’ll be playing? G League? I’ve heard that from semi- reliable sources. I think he’ll be in Ames.
I was simply stating that in the dozen or so times I’ve watched him, he wasn’t what I would call a shooter. What a strange comment.
He shot 40% from three, but L.Wade saw him make two in a game as a sophomore.
Just looking at their basketball recruiting, I assume Otz is working with somebody directly. Probably smart on his part.We know ISU has their collective locked down, so NIL won’t be an issue with them at all.
he's got a better shot than his bros. does he have Patricks hops or Connor's lack thereof? The best thing for Jack is that he kept growing so now he is almost certainly going to be a stretch 4 instead of someone who needs the ball in his hands like Pat. I have never seen him in person so I can’t speak to his effort or intangibles, but he is the son of a white coach so that’s a good start. He’s not quick enough right now to be a college wing, but then again Sandfort didn’t start and averaged 6 ppg as a soph.
Agree with this. Shot is limited. But everything else is off the chart.I was simply stating that in the dozen or so times I’ve watched him, he wasn’t what I would call a shooter.
Connor McCaffery shot 42% as a senior.
It’s lower than that if you add up all three of his senior years.Connor McCaffery shot 42% as a senior.
Hoo boy. If he went to the G League, the meltdown would be glorious.yes. G-League, but obviously NIL makes college a different animal now.
NIL may change the equation. But he’s not one to really go to school (not sure if that matters anymore). And he’s not real big on commitment, so if the right offer comes along, I think there’s a good chance he would jump.Hoo boy. If he went to the G League, the meltdown would be glorious.
Will the cans already be redeemed, or does he have to take them in?NIL may change the equation.
Brauns played at IC Regina before transferring to West High to play with Patrick McCaffery in his senior season. I watched a few Belmont games the last couple of years just to see him play. He’s pretty good, but not Iowa/Big10 level imo.Something about Even Brauns transferring. Not particularly impressive numbers, but he is from Iowa City.
The tweet was worded strangley as well, I don't remember exactly but it implied he had already committed but wasn't ready to announce.
Kalert had an update today. Feels confident Brauns will be at Iowa, possibly as a walk-on, depending on how the portal season goes.Brauns played at IC Regina before transferring to West High to play with Patrick McCaffery in his senior season. Yeah…but no.He’s on his 5th school in 5 years.
he has been getting paid through a wannabe handler from Waukee for a long time. I am sorry if I wasn’t clear about that.Yeah…but no.

And coming back to Waukee for his senior year seems to undermine most of your accusations of lack of loyalty or whatever other crap you’re making up to try to minimize the highest ranked recruit to go to Iowa or Iowa State enrolling at ISU next year.
He could get paid by a lot of people. Surely Waukee wannabe wasn’t the highest bid nationally. But if so, great, got him to commit to ISU.he has been getting paid through a wannabe handler from Waukee for a long time. I am sorry if I wasn’t clear about that.

He seems like a serviceable bench guy.
My INSIDER sources had told me Even Brauns is a high major player and he seems to be backing that up at camps.
You mean the public twitter posts from the other day saying he was a solid 6'9'' post with a face up game? Yeah, I saw that too.
Do you have any thoughts of your own on the matter or is that your thing..... you come to this thread, recite some public twitter post and embarrass yourself in an attempt to impress some dude with a Mike Gundy hard on you're already related to?
Listen, there are two certainties in life.
1. Don't do that
2. You dropped $30k on in state tuition you coulda had for $1.50 in late fees at the Field House parking garage.
