We can't wait 18 years for a PG.

There has to be another option.

Savion Taylor from Iowa City Liberty, Drew Kingery from Indianola and TJ Power from MA were in the house on Saturday as well.

Bowen and Dix were there too with the big group of recruits.

TJ Power has spoken highly of Iowa for quite a while now. It wouldn’t surprise me to see him end up a Hawkeye.

An interesting element to his recruitment is that he’s apparently still considering reclassifying into the 2022 class.

Fap-affirmative.

Freeman looks like a mobile stretch 4 that can handle and shoot, and should add a decent bit to his frame. Prime out of state pickup for this early in the '23 process.

Now add Sandfort.

Meyers Leonard is huge, way bigger than this kid. He reminds me a little bit of Micah Potter. Either way, it is definitely a good pick up for Fran.
Please tell me you’re not comparing the NBA version of Meyers Leonard to a high school kid. Meyers was about 220 coming out of high school. Taller, yes, but not huge as you describe.

I am comparing frames; Leonard was a legit 7' with a 7'3" wingspan at 18 yrs old. This kid looks to be about 6'9" with a 7' ish wingspan. That's a big difference.

And please don't tell me you're comparing this unranked high school basketball recruit to a borderline 5 star recruit and NBA lottery pick.

Where did I do any comparing, stupid? I didn’t make the initial comparison nor did I defend it.

His AAU teammate #21 is already all-douche for the hippie headband and hair.

I was more referring to his general mannerisms in the posted video but agree Micah Potter might be a better comparison. I’ll settle for production in between those two.

Sounds like he was more of traditional big but is starting to expand his game. The lack of a full high school season in Illinois could explain the discrepancy between offers and ranking.

Where did I say you did make the comparison, stupid? I just implied that the comparison wasn't a very good one and you'd be making a mistake by agreeing with it.

Please don’t tell me you’re trying to compare synapse response times.
Seems like a more reasonable thing to argue about than whatever fight he was trying to pick. I'd prefer to argue about 2023 basketball recruits in the 2023 Basketball Recruiting thread though....

Thanks for helping, when you are as tall as me it gets hard to type sometimes; those motor signals need to travel so far and all.
Nice try at turning a fuckup into a humblebrag.

Committed. Nobody has him ranked yet. Based on his footage looks like he might be 150-175-ish. But with that offer list might end up higher than that.

Was supposed to visit Illinois next weekend and Notre Dame the 23rd. Visited Wisconsin last weekend.
247 just released their first ranking of Freeman.

@YugoslavianMountainHound note he does not weigh 87 pounds or 136 pounds.

Great start. Thought he would right up there in the #75 range after looking at his highlights.

He's going to be really good.
