This is just the non-conference schedule that takes place during football season. Everyone especially tv networks want to avoid football overlap. They will have a weekend conference game either home or away in early December. Xavier is a great Friday night home non-conference game.

Nobody is watching any of these games on TV no matter when they are scheduled. Why not play them at a time where you can get more than 10,000 in attendance?

Nobody gives a flying fuck about attendance at games. The money is all in TV and the massive deals that have been signed by the conferences and the games are a product to fill air time and sell advertising.

TV needs no help filling Saturday's during football season. They need help filling 8pm on Tuesday. That is why the games are on Tuesday, and yes, something like 15x-100x the number of people will be watching on tv vs. in the stands.

It's about the easiest financial decision ever for everyone involved.

When I had season tickets I did enjoy the Friday night hoops game followed by a Saturday home game. Based on the actual attendance to those games it might have been just me

I've analyzed that schedule closely, and factored in many things. Home court, trap games, byes, rivalry games, days off, season grind.

After much thought and number-crunching, it looks like 20-0 to me.
