Knowing nothing about them besides stats, McCowan is more offensive skills, but coming off an injury. Whiting has better defensive stats and should have faced better competition in the big 12.

She's more of a stretch 4, isn't she?...plenty capable of playing inside and outside. But you're right in that they probably don't need more than 1 additional PF for depth...preferably one with some size who would play the 4 and 5 if needed.

Not really getting this. They have two centers (Heiden and Hays), they have 2 PF's (Woliczko and Houston). Guards are set if these additional two transfers come in. They might need a bench player at the F/C spot, but they are set at this point.

That's exactly what I'm saying...apparently very poorly. I guess I don't see Houston as a classic PF...she's pretty undersized at that spot. One more inside player with some size would be a bonus.

That's exactly why 1 more depth piece would be nice. I'm not completely sold on her just yet. She has the skills...just needs to put it together between the ears.

Hays was very raw skill-wise. Definitely had the size and shooting touch. Just needs work on footwork. She’ll be a solid contributor
