We're going to be in the area for a funeral next week, so I'm going to take my son to the Oregon game. What's the strategy? Just buy now or wait until closer to the game?

I realize this is a tired theme and I've already tried jamming the computer/phone up my ass mercilessly to no avail.

I mean, Iowa isn't going to lose between now and then, right? Seems like you just buy now.

The biggest issue for me is the gov't shutdown affecting flights at this point.

I've decided that if Iowa wins (and if the seats are still available) going to get the Club ticket. If not, it's just me going for free combined with a work trip so I'll wait until 30 min before kickoff and grab the best and cheapest ticket out there near the 50 yard line.

Indeed. LAX has been a shitshow. My worst case scenario is just flying out of one of the other airports next morning or even taking the train.

I love that same day R/T west coast Big Ten games are an option for me now so long as kickoff is sometime around noonish.
