Goodman reported that the expectation is that Iowa will move on Fran McCaffery as the Hawkeyes' head coach in the coming days.

Fran is a conundrum. I like the guy a lot, he's a good coach and has done a good job at Iowa. With that said, he's just as stubborn as Kirk Ferentz but without the willingness to change even a little bit.

That's why he has to go. If he just made a couple hard decisions and got rid of old ass Sherm and splash hired a high level defensive assistant, I think most would be ok with giving him another chance.

He can't even do that though. Too fucking stubborn.
