LOL, if we find Joey Matteoni playing it means there is either a blowout or you're getting blown out.
I also expected Joey Matteoni to be nearly the last player off the bench, but McCollum began his Big Ten Media news conference by saying Jirak, Howard, and Matteoni have made the biggest jumps since the end of last season. Given McCollum's reputation for discovering unknowns and developing them, I will suspend my disbelief until the season starts.I'm sure he's a nice player, a young player and a really good kid, but if he's playing over your 4* guys then something has gone wrong.
So which is it? Are we going to win games in blowouts or do we suck? Because he's going to play.LOL, if we find Joey Matteoni playing it means there is either a blowout or you're getting blown out.
He is so large he looks photoshoppedMcKeever is just a MASSIVE human being. The two guys on the left are 6'8'', the guy on the right is 6'11 250 and the guys next to him are 6'8'' tall as well. He makes all of them look tiny.

It kind of makes sense. If they mostly sucked last year they’re bound to improve more than the others.I also expected Joey Matteoni to be nearly the last player off the bench, but McCollum began his Big Ten Media news conference by saying Jirak, Howard, and Matteoni have made the biggest jumps since the end of last season. I get it, but Baer was on a team with way less talent. In a McCollum system (or really any system) there are only 8 guys that are going to get real minutes and your 9th and 10th guys get situational minutes and not every game.Sounds like Nick Baer. If he plays his way into the lineup thats only a good thing IMO.
Combs / Coleman / Sage / Koch / Manyawu / McKeever are stone cold Top 6. Then your second tier of Howard / Thompson / Jirak are guaranteed to get minutes and you're already at 8 players.
So much clapping.I love our coaches, but holy fucking shit having 7 coaches all constantly yelling at the same time is fucking annoying as shit.
my head won’t explode. I will simply nod knowingly.I want McCollum to play just so LWades head will literally explode.
The culdesac will revolt.
Your mom will knob knowinglymy head won’t explode. I will simply nod knowingly.
She already does.Your mom will knob knowingly
And she still will, too.She already does.
I wouldn't be so quick to pencil Thompson in. I'm hearing his defense still needs quite a bit of work and might keep him off the floorCombs / Coleman / Sage / Koch / Manyawu / McKeever are stone cold Top 6. You didn't hear jack shit. I make up the fake rumors around here, asshole.I wouldn't be so quick to pencil Thompson in. I'm hearing his defense still needs quite a bit of work and might keep him off the floor
Someone has to balance out your bullshitYou didn't hear jack shit. I make up the fake rumors around here, asshole.
It’s a little over the top but it’s meant to keep practice as intense as possible.I love our coaches, but holy fucking shit having 7 coaches all constantly yelling at the same time is fucking annoying as shit.
they also seem to be touting as a defensive stopper an unathletic, short white kid that, despite every possible training advantage, could not guard a group of football players from valley.I wouldn't be so quick to pencil Thompson in. I was going to @BBK , but you took care of it.
He looked terrible in that open practice video. He's not getting playing time anytime soon.My hope is that Peyton remains a practice player for the most part.
One turnover was his, the other was not. Not saying you’re right or wrong but LOL at going off that video. He looked terrible in that open practice video. He's not getting playing time anytime soon.
Or dadsI’m confident Ben will play the best players regardless of who their moms are.
Now you have my attentionOr dads
This is the most tired routine on the board. Ben McCollum is one of the best hires in the history of athletic department, led us on a magical run in March and you dwell on this.
Laugh it off, Rev. Wade is in another thread saying that one of the top PGs in the country won't come here because of... Peyton. Peyton will be costing Iowa games by the middle of the season without ever even playing a minute. This is the most tired routine on the board. Ben McCollum is one of the best hires in the history of athletic department, led us on a magical run in March and you dwell on this.
I mean, sorry for telling the truth? He says shit like that and then also made a comment in the football thread about the main strength of Hank Brown being the son of one of Lester's friends. It's all just so ridiculous.
Can you imagine the cul-de-sac conversations? LOL.
