Is there really anything in this world more compelling than Women's basketball Big Ten media day?

Fennelly retiring after 2026-27. Did he announce it so they don't fire him?

ISU is short on NIL money and elected to give what they had to the money sports, football and men's basketball. Therefore nearly the entire women's team bailed. It is impossible to be competitive in that environment. Audi Crooks is reportedly getting $1.4M at Oklahoma State.

Iowa should do the same.

Stremlow is in way better shape than last year. Looks a lot more fluid.

If Carnegie can be a consistent multi-level scoring threat to help open up the paint for Heiden....this team could be quite good.

This team is going to be so much better than the last two teams.

Solid guards, two 4’s that are a threat to shoot.

Heiden is a first team big ten center. Hays will be a lot better after an offseason to work on footwork.

Carnegie is going to be what we were hoping Rodriguez was going to be last year, but better.

Bring it in.

They should be a lot more versatile and much tougher to defend with multiple scoring options.

To be fair, Rodriguez was not first team all SEC and a top portal get. Our aspirations for her do not even come close to what they are for Carnegie.

Oh I know but she was definitely looked at as an upgrade physically and athletically.
