I feel good about Minnesota next week and Wisconsin to follow it up. The road tilts in Evanston and Champaign are giving me a little concern. Illinois specifically due to Bert.

Illinois is planning to start a 3-star true freshman in Houser's absence.

Houser could be back for the Iowa game, but that would likely be his first game back and they weren't really any good with him

The second half of this season is going to be absurdly entertaining. Lots of rivals, all high stakes, all very winnable yet no gimmes at all.

A week after week bloodletting with a shitload of joy, heartbreak and drama.
It's crazy this year in college football. There are no dominant teams.

Can’t believe CBS picked Oregon at Illinois, at least that’s what I assume they picked.

They picked Michigan State @ UCLA

Also, Iowa still needs to have 2 games air on BTN. Guessing that will be Purdue & Illinois.

It allows for some early morning tailgating and the ability to still get home and take in the late games. Of course that assumes you're not a tavern Hawk.
Ehh fuck all that. Late October big ten tilts are best served at 2:30 PM.

Home games, because I ain't no tavern hawk, I prefer 1100 or 630, and least like the 230/300 games. For the games I watch on TV, 230/300 is ideal, and 1100 games are the worst.

I prefer afternoons, but don't normally mind 11 a.m. Homecoming weekend would be the exception. Tradition dictates that I go to the parade and meet some buddies, and we try to drink like we did when we were in college. Going to be some headaches at the tailgate on Saturday morning.

I despise late west coast games. It can be difficult to stay sober enough all day to catch the whole game.

Unless, you power nap and rally for the 10:15pm kickoff.

Anyone who hates Pac12/Big Ten After Dark is a sissy boy. There is nothing better than finishing off an awesome Saturday of college football with Nebrantska getting their guts ripped out by a West Coast team at 1:45am CST.
