Maybe that's it. Uthoff played with the Red Claws or whatever and his 10 day contracts ended up coming from the Mavs.Still surprised that he chose Denver. They are one of the deeper teams in the league. If the hope was to work his way onto an active roster and get some playing time, Denver is not the most optimal situation for him. I watched the game yesterday and he’s in the second unit and not starting. Denver does have one of the best development programs in the league. Tim Connelly is legit.
Jok didn’t get any playing time for Orlando.
I think they might have actually signed him to a solid 2 way deal. He is currently listed on their actual roster and not just the Nuggets Summer League roster.Still surprised that he chose Denver. He signed a partially guaranteed contract (ex-10) which is one step below a 2-way. This means he gets some up front money and an invite to training camp (unless he’s waived), but is not guaranteed a roster spot. A better situation for him would be on a 2-way contact which is fully guaranteed for a year or two. His ex-10 can be converted into a 2-way. But given he’s running with the second unit, not looking likely. As far as his guaranteed money, he most likely got $50k. These are the types of contracts that were created to incentivize players not to go overseas. Teams can have 6 of these players and if Tyler's doesn't get converted into a 2-way before the season starts, he will be waived and free to sign with anyone including Denver’s D-League team.I think they might have actually signed him to a solid 2 way deal. His prospects are long term and it was very very unlikely he was going to make any roster this season but might be good for him long term.
Oddly enough, despite being know for their development, Denver is one of just three teams that don't have a G-League affiliate. Monte Morris played with the Rio Grande (Houston affilate) two years ago on his 2-way. Thomas Welsh was on a 2-way all year last year for Denver and he played at least some with the Iowa Wolves when he wasn't in Denver. He signed a partially guaranteed contract (ex-10) which is one step below a 2-way. Looks like Denver still has Welsh signed to a 2-way and may have one opening depending on what Goodwin does... https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2019/07/201920-nba-two-way-contract-tracker.htmlOddly enough, despite being know for their development, Denver is one of just three teams that don't have a G-League affiliate. Maybe, maybe not. They are loaded at the forward position and said so as much on the broadcast yesterday. What I love about Summer League is they usually interview each coach or GM during the game and they give a pretty good lay of the land. When they went through the depth chart and spoke about the summer league's roster, Tyler was not mentioned once. They talked a lot about Vlatko Cancar, Terrence Davis, Thomas Welsh, Jarred Vanderbilt, and of course Porter Jr. FWIW, Cook looked lost on defense (that nasty block aside). Here's to hoping he gets a good look over the next few weeks and plays well.He also might be on the second unit because he joined late and has been hurt.He signed a partially guaranteed contract (ex-10) which is one step below a 2-way. Im surprised he can jump enough for a spike.I got crushed in the dick AND balls by an Andrew Brommer beach volleyball spike tonight. We got the last laugh, though- won 2 of 3 sets.

He’s just not fast and aggressive enough to play with the elite level NBA players.what is it that holds Uthoff back? He's 6'9, can shoot the 3, isn't stupid with the ball
how can that guy not be a usual 3-and-D player who stands in the corner on offense without moving and plays decent defense off the bench on at least some team in the NBA?
is he way less athletic and way more shitty on defense than I remember?

He actually has been aggressive in taking it to the basket this summer. I think his game has improved there since leaving IowaHe’s just not fast and aggressive enough to play with the elite level NBA players.what is it that holds Uthoff back? He's 6'9, can shoot the 3, isn't stupid with the ball

I love Wadley but I might need to unfollow him on twitter. Dude is so horny. His liked booty pics are always showing up in my timeline
Brandon Wegher did not.Peter Jok I believe pulled out.
Jok is injured, so not playing with them anymore. No idea where to put this. The Iowa United team plays tonight. Some former guys are playing:
Nick Baer
Melsahn Basabe
Matt Gatens
Cyrus Tate
Horner is coaching. Peter Jok I believe pulled out.
Because what else is there to do in Wichita?Lol that there is a fucking sold out crowd for this.
I mean, this has to be sort of embarrassing for these people on some level.Because what else is there to do in Wichita?Lol that there is a fucking sold out crowd for this.
That wasn't Baer.Kinda fun to watch with an excited crowd. Nothing else on. Baer just lost his manhood to a Cleanthony Early block.
