My fear is that Creighton's goofy big guy is going to dominate Krikke in the paint and on the glass and it may be too much to overcome regardless of how well we shoot. At least it will be a fast paced game as basketball was intended to be played.

If Krikke can continue to make 90% of his 15 foot jumpshots he is really going to win me over.

Creighton shot out of their ass and Iowa got no calls while playing a bunch of freshmen in significant minutes on the road. Overall an encouraging sign and I look forward to Kirk keeping these same fans’ beloved Huskers from reaching bowl eligibility next Friday.

The defense really just struggled to start the second half. It was good enough in the first half, and after Fran went to the bench in the second half. Creighton is the number 8 team in the country, they're going to score.

That was a fucking fun game to watch. Creighton is really good, crazy disciplined. Lots to love on this Hawks squad if they can bring that effort all season. I don’t mind a little home cooking going agin you on the road so long as we get some at home. Dix is really the lone disappointment for me. Needs to get his mojo back, team needs shooters

Entertaining game. Young guys are encouraging. Defense still going to determine their fate. <opponent> shot out of their mind has been said a gazillion times over the past ten years. There’s a reason for that.

Great game. Way too many long 2s and just couldn't keep up. high scoring but fast paced too and actually thought the defense in spots was pretty good.

Refs were awful as expected. Hawks covered and hit the over so thats nice.

Good game overall and valuable minutes for the young guys. Defense went to shit for a stretch and they made us pay every time by not missing anything. The freshmen aren’t scared.

Thoughts:
1. That was a really fun game to watch.
2. Fran has been looking for "White Magic", and it's Harding. I don't mind Bowen, but he doesn't add anything. No scoring. No assists. Give his minutes to Harding and let him grow.
3. Perkins needs to have the ball when we need points, and he needs to have confidence to go to the basket.
3. Happy to see Patrick play his role. Take the ball to the basket, shoot 3's, and play the front of the press. You're not the answer.
4. Fuck Courtney Green.
