Big O looked serviceable and maybe could use more minutes too. He actually looks thinner too. Illinois has a fat shit on their team that they get decent minutes out of.

Kind of sounds counterintuitive but we need to go to a smaller lineup, as you suggested, and try to run teams out of the gym. We certainly aren’t going to outsize anyone, nor out shoot them. Gotta try something.

They will be fine, but for whatever reason, Fran has decided to allow the offense to run through Rebecca.

He's a nice kid. Solid contributor. Got a lot better this year. For the love of fuck though, stop giving him the ball over and over and over as if he's Luka Garza. He's a black hole. The offense stops when the ball gets to him and he is looking to score every single time he touches it.

If I had to choose, I'd rather Iowa start the season with pretty good defense and a lousy offense. I have faith that Fran can fix the offense.

He has that Garzanian first step, which gets me all excited and sends me back in time two years to utter domination. Then he tucks his shoulder, brings the ball down to his forehead and gets smothered by two or three defenders while I scream at him to pass it out.

Patrick can go fuck himself. He's moved right to the top of the "can't wait until he graduates" after last night.

His teammates (especially Murray) wanted to kill him after he just abandoned his man and left Murray on an island to draw a foul. They were all screaming at Pat and he just rolled his eyes. The kid is fucking lazy.

Oh, but the second that mother fucker hits a single shot, it's all black hole for him as well. He hit a wild shot near the end of the game, then every possession after that he was head of steam going to the basket. Of course he's about as strong as a few sheets of toilet paper, so he gets cut off and makes two terrible passes leading to turnovers.

Ulis is a much better PG for this team than JoeT. He brings the same positive attributes in terms of quickness and defense without the turnovers.

Watch the celebration he does after hitting the 3 in the waning minutes when they’re down 15. They only show it for a fraction of a second but I’ve never hated anyone more than I hated him in that moment.

To top it off he fell on the floor 3 times after that because he’s a baby giraffe.
