- McCollum tried to replicate the Nebrantska game when they got a 5 point lead. Just run the clock out and don't even actually try to score. How many losses and how many coaches will it take to figure out trying to run the clock out in basketball almost never works?

- Iowa players have got to have the worst balance of all fucking time. Banks, Combs, Howard, Cam, Stirtz, Koch are just CONSTANTLY spazzing and falling down. It's an embarrassment. Learn how to play basketball on your 2 feet or get the fuck out.

- Speaking of that, the game ends with two of the most retarded sequences of all time. Howard trips their player out of pure clumsiness, then trips himself, runs into Combs and Combs shoves him into the ground and the Penn State player to give them a foul and 2 free throws with 1.5 seconds left sealing the loss.

Oh, and if the loss wasn't already sealed, McCollum (the Curt Cignetti of College Basketball!!) draws up the worst inbounds play of all time with two players running towards the inbounder when they have to go full court with 1.5 seconds left and somehow the two guys LITERALLY TRIP OVER EACH OTHER while the Penn State players stand there going "what the fuck is wrong with these guys" and laughing.

Atrocious, inexcusable loss to a terrible team while playing some of the very worst defense you will ever see and giving up 65% shooting. I don't know, guys, maybe you shouldn't just let them straight line drive you to the rim for layups over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

That really is unbelievable. Especially considering how well they shot in the 1st half. I wasn't able to watch the 2nd half but figured there was no possible way they would shoot as good so figured Iowa would win by 10 or so. Just a terrible display of basketball.

It wasn't even good shooting. They only took 4 threes in the second half, it was mostly a layup line. Iowa can't get a stop and they are one of the worst teams at fouling in the Big Ten. It's an awful combination.

Had 18 more FGA. +8 offensive boards, +7 turnovers. They go 9-15 from 3, we’re 9-28 on the day Koch goes 5-7. Unreal.

They shot out of their minds but we let them get too comfortable. It’s so frustrating how our defense can be suffocating in games against better teams and then have games like this. And usually when we’re bad it’s just getting beat in iso situations.

Stirtz finally had a bad shooting game and we didn’t pick him up. The stretch where Alvaro went turnover, turnover, missed 3, missed front end was a killer.

I get the early Hausen minutes because they were collapsing and we had wide open 3’s plus he could survive defensively until he got switched onto Reed. I did not understand staying with him.
