LFG!
That dude was HUGE. Has to moonlight as a bouncer.#33 for Minny might be the most yoked basketball player I have ever seen at the college level.
I appreciated him coming in, playing 8 seconds and getting called for a moving screen. Right back to the bench. That dude was HUGE. Has to moonlight as a bouncer.
Looked like he just made it out of a gulag#33 for Minny might be the most yoked basketball player I have ever seen at the college level.
One of the biggest humans I’ve ever seen. Pregame I thought he was just a strength coach. Didn’t even take any shots and walked off early. Got about 20 seconds and picked up a terrible moving screen.#33 for Minny might be the most yoked basketball player I have ever seen at the college level.
Future? He’s the motha fuckin present. Cam Krispy Kreme was scared shitless of him.
I should go to more games. 20 point comeback and my cousin made the full court putt in the first half
That's insane. Their resume is so bad, they'd need to go something like 5-2 or 6-1 to end the regular season here to have a prayer.Local media trying to convince readers that Iowa still alive for the NCAA Tourney.
They would need 5-2 with a couple wins over Illinois and Wisconsin and maybe 1-2 more in the BTT.That's insane. Their resume is so bad, they'd need to go something like 5-2 or 6-1 to end the regular season here to have a prayer.
They were 15-10 coming off back to back losses to Minnesota and a bad Northwestern team. Biggest difference is that team had road wins at North Carolina and Ohio State plus home wins against Ohio State and Maryland. They were in a similar spot in 2014-2015
He was listed at 6’11” 338lbs while playing football at Washington State. He clearly cut down a lot of the football weight though. That was bonkers to see on a basketball courtOne of the biggest humans I’ve ever seen. Pregame I thought he was just a strength coach. Didn’t even take any shots and walked off early. It's more likely they fall out of the NIT. The schedule is pretty rough the rest of the way. This might be the year they finally win the NIT. That is my hope at this point.
will be sold out before the announcement at this rateQuite the jump from 5 to 600
Hopefully @Trey Kohn can get release so we can ride the train together again leaving MSG.This might be the year they finally win the NIT. That is my hope at this point.
how did you, Trey, and TH’s mom end up in the same place?Hopefully @Trey Kohn can get release so we can ride the train together again leaving MSG.
I would usually say it isn't the worst thing for a team like Iowa that does have talent on the team and coming in but needs the coaching staff to really buckle down and get aggressive in the transfer portal to get it back where it needs to be, but Fran is pretty terrible at that.
He's either going to leave, or more likely will bring back most of the same guys plus Tadjo/Koch and whatever cracker undersized mid-major post player that dominated the MAC/Valley due to playing against 6'7'' other crackers. That or he gets a black guy that can't shoot worth a shit but might be willing to defend like Bakari Evelyn.
Imagine getting an established solid transfer PG. We can dream, boyz!!
Rebraca was plenty tough. So was Garza. Krikke isn’t a 5 and never should have been recruited out of the portal as such. It was clear at Valpo that he had high level offensive skills as a finesse power forward but not a reliable 3 point shooter, poor rebounder, and a major liability on defense. Of the two realistic options I thought Mast would have been a better fit for this team. But it isn’t surprising that Fran chose the guy who would score more. And it’s a microcosm of why much of the fan base has given up on Fran to ever take defense seriously enough.Rebraca was a solid player and this team sadly really needs Krikke, but I don’t get how Fran is able to find big guys that play so soft (well, I guess he found one at his own kitchen table). You’d think guys from Serbia and Edmonton would be tough, but even yesterday Krikke was once again shoved around by guys smaller and weaker than him. It’s just not a good sign when a white wingman and a freshman are your best rebounders.
Adam Woodbury was criminally underappreciated in his time.We had several years in a row of top 30 defenses. It seems to be more personnel related.
