Watching ISU’s Brown back players down into the post from the arc and taking 10 seconds to do it reminded me of coaching first grade ball when we couldn’t double team or steal the ball until they got into the paint, so coaches would sometimes just back their biggest kid all the way to the block and there was nothing we could do about it.

I agree. I’m sure it wasn’t for lack of trying. Lauren Betts wanting to stay on the west coast was the real bummer. The next recruiting class seems to be the one that is the direct result of the recent success.

Sharon is getting way better. Jan is really coaching her up. Hannah Stuelke is a 4 not a 5. And Addison OG is kind of a lost cause although she makes a decent play now and then

Not true....they did try in the portal, especially with Betts as mentioned above. Van Lith and the girl from DePaul were never coming here, but they would have really liked Betts, but she wasn't interested. There just weren't any other good fits available. Good news is they have one of the top posts in the country coming next year...Ava Heiden who is 6' 4".
