Hearing rumblings that he may graduate early and take advantage of the graduate transfer rule.

Considering three schools....one of which would have epic repercussions.

He's great, but I honestly can't see the iowa staff taking him as a one year player. Maybe after last year.

Also, I in no way believe this rumor. However, this is something I'm completely fine with everyone running with.

this is coming from the same guy who gave me the Haluska stuff.

Iza still owes me a 6 pack for that 1.

It would be hilarious if he had mores wins with his new team by November than in 3 seasons at Iowa State.

There's not enough popcorn available to watch the ensuing meltdown.

Would be the greatest day on the interwebs.

But like Santa Claus, doubt this rumor is real. But the 'looker has surprised me before

Why wouldn't he just declare for the NFL?
Not sure he's fast enough. The best thing he could have done is go somewhere that doesn't suck that both values physical development and Tight Ends. Become an athletic TE instead of a slow WR. He was never going to Iowa but could have gone plenty of places to accomplish that.

I thought the same thing about Todd Blythe

If what is being hinted at actually came about I might consider taking a day off work just to keep up with the angst meltdown at CF.

Is the release process the same for grad transfers as it is for normal transfers? I can't imagine ISU releasing him to Iowa if it is.

It's also what I hope they end up doing with Shaun Beyer.

Once again, there is 0% chance of him ending up at iowa and probably the same of him even leaving ISU. That said I could not even imagine a better scenario to play out on social media.

Do any of you think he is more than maybe a fifth/sixth round pick? Speed is really an issue for him....the comparison to Blythe is a good one IMHO.

The thought of him graduating and leaving early for any school is hilarious. Just a kick in the dick for those losers

Haven't you been doing your homework? Top 25 recruiting class coming in next year. He'd be lucky to even have a spot on the roster.

My guess is that a minimum of 5 guys decommit. Already had one that attended the UNI game, then said no thanks. As the beat downs mount, players get discontent. Recruits that have other options will look at them. They will get serious negative recruiting against that coaching group.

I didn't need a serious response.

Lazard got run down from behind by Jewell on Iowa State's lone big play Saturday. Josey is a fucking stud, but if you are a receiver and get caught from behind by a linebacker, that doesn't bode well for the NFL.

Could he still come to Iowa even if the NFL drafts him against his will?

Also, daddy like.

This is only his third year. I know a lot of kids come in with college credit, but he went to Urbandale and seems like a tremendous dumbfuck.

Lazard has to have contemplated a few times spending his So and Jr year catching balls from CJ Beathard and being probably one of the top two receivers on a top 5 team in the media a ton. Learning pro style WR blocking, etc. If Vandeberg as a 170 pound true frosh played at WR at Iowa you know he would have.

He won't go to Iowa with a first year QB. He'll go somewhere that throws the ball around with an experienced QB - think Notre Dame.

I don't know what's more bullshit, Lazard considering Iowa, or the fact that he could graduate in 3 years.

That's the beauty of college these days, Stu! You can major in Game Boy if you know how to bullshit.

Maybe, but he did initially pick Iowa St.
