**Michigan vs. Iowa Basketball - 1/17/20 - 8pm - FS1**

Huge game at Carver Hawkeye of course means the forecast calls for 7 inches of snow that in the late evening will turn into sleet and ice.

Iowa up to #16 in KenPom. #4 offense and #74 defense.

Michigan is #21 in KenPom. #20 offense and #40 defense. They have really struggled on the road with 0 true road wins and a few blowouts. Their best player Isaiah Livers is out still. He had 14 and 6 in the first game.

If Iowa can play some defense in that #74 range and shoots decent should be a great shot to win and will be maybe a 3 or 4 point favorite.

The good thing is the game is at 8pm and not 6pm. That gives everyone plenty of time to get off work and drink for a few hours downtown or in Coralville before heading to Carver.

KenPom groups games as Tier A and Tier B. Tier A is a top 50 opponent adjusted for location, Tier B is top 100 adjusted. The rest of our schedule has 9 Tier A games, 4 Tier B's and 1 that's below top 100. 3 of the 4 Tier B's are in the next 5 games. Rutgers, Wisconsin, Illinois at home. PSU at home is the other one and Nebrantska home is the one that falls below.

The Big Ten is a bitch, clean up at home when you can.

There is a wrestling meet on Saturday at Carver Hawkeye that starts at 8pm.

It would have to be a noon or maybe a 2pm game at the latest so they could clear out the arena by 5pm or so and have it ready for that night.

The storm is supposed to go into Saturday morning. If that is the case and it had to be early afternoon, not sure how much good that would do to move it as it would still be unlikely anyone outside of the Iowa City area would be there.

There also doesn't appear to be any TV window open and would have to move to the app most likely.
