Over the last 8 games since Wisconsin he's averaging 28 minutes per game. 33, 31, 31, 31 in the four vs. Big Ten teams plus ISU.

Really good offensive game overall. That stretch midway through the 2nd with 3 straight turnovers (holy shit Maishe) and probably 4 out of 6 trips was brutal. Other than that they got the transition going more than they have and were balanced. Kriener is frustrating as hell but he can score. Hopefully this is the game that gets bohannon looking to shoot more. Still have to get Joe more looks other than just a few corner 3 attempts.

Defense certainly wasn't fixed but the zone looked competent for good stretches.

I watched this part again and it is fascinating.....

• Nebrantska luckily doesn't score and Iowa runs the break and Dailey launches a corner three that is an absolute brick
• bohannon luckily draws a charge bailing out Dailey
• Iowa comes down and throws the ball around the perimeter a few times and Dailey for some reason rifles a pass at Cook who had 4 guys around him and it is a turnover
• Dailey is completely out of position on defense allowing an open three that misses, but Dailey simply watches the shot and doesn't block anyone out and fouls the Nebrantska player for a 3 point play at 8:15.
• Fran finally pulls him out of the game.

That is about as terrible as a 1:09 stretch can get for a player.

The whole awful sequence actually stared at 9:50 with Cook dribbling out of control and turning it over for a dunk, then Connor with a horrible turnover and then the Dailey yakety sax.

The one other thing about bohannon is that his threes he hit tonight were different from prior games. Even when Iowa played that one super horrible team and he had 6 threes, it was basically because he was so open he had to shoot and none of them looked confident.

This game the threes he hit in the second half he knew they were going in before he shot them and had something extra on each one of them. He posed after one over near the bench as soon as he shot it and also had that one where he came out of a spin and launched it and was talking shit before it was half way there.

He mentioned a few times that this season is the first time he ever doubted his shooting and you could tell. It didn't seem that way in the second half for the first time all season.

At some point Connor will have to start shooting. Multiple times he picked up his dribble at the 3 point line and the defenders backed off to block a passing lane. Even when he ball faked like he might actually shoot, they barely closed out on him.

he's 1 for 9 this year on 3s. He's a decent FT shooter(82%)so hopefully he will improve on 3s.

I get that he is not a great 3 point shooter, but he at least needs to give the impression that he will shoot (and actually take shots) because right now the defense is guarding him like Shaq at the 3 point line.

The defense wings job is to be in the passing lane from wing to corner so that the pass has to be a lob, giving the bottom guy time to get to the corner. A good 1-3-1 like Nebrantska’s, won’t let the offense whip the ball around the perimeter. Yes you’re right if you can get the ball reversed the corner is open.

I would think faking the over the top pass then either dribbling around the defender or making a wrap around pass would be more effective. I can't believe more of those didn't get stolen.

Top guys job is to keep ball on one side. So that SHOULDNT be allowed. But even if it does happen, that’s a slower reversal than the pass obv and wouldn’t be very effective

There was this old bag who kept telling these kids to sit down in such a rude fashion. It really pissed me off because the kids were into the game and that old man was sitting just sitting there like the old bag he is. The kids were having a really good time and this bastard just didn't care. At one point like everyone else in the arena was standing and cheering and the guy still told them to sit down. I was very close to telling him to GFH, but that wouldn't have done any good. If someone standing up when the moment lends itself to that bothers you, then either deal with it or don't come. I hate that shit.

I’ve gone to most games this year and I cannot think of an example of this. It’s not like they are busting out old time rock and roll.

I like some of the stuff. The look up cam is funny. Name that tune is hilarious. The Snapchat filter cam thing usually gets people into it. Always like biggie too.
