Petras was mostly fine in 2020. Last year was bad but I do think part of that was mental and injuries

Since Halo's boy Labas isn't ready you're back to Padilla? Pathetic sacks you are
You don't read well, do you? I have never mentioned Labas. I don't go to practices like some of this board. I am basing this on what I saw in games. Padilla is better. That doesn't mean good...it means better. No word salad here bud.

They didn’t even let Carson May take a snap at the kids day event.

@Stu Beagle made a choice to forget how bad Peaches was in 2020. He tried to block out the bad, I can't fault him for that. I wish I could forget the terrible play to this degree but unfortunately for me and the rest of the semi warm bodies here...we did not forget.

If people having rapport with Spencer Petras made him a good quarterback, then he'd be Otto Graham at this point. Rapport ain't sculpting the Mona Lisa, if you know what I mean.

I was hopeful about Labas, but that is not inconsistent in any way with believing Padilla is better than Spencer, whose feet and pocket presence are awful.

The iowa program being super impressed by a completely nondescript wisconsin qb is perfect.
That's not really a notable characteristic in a coach, most good coaches were nondescript as players. They become good coaches because they were unable to become great players and it drives them to become workaholics for the rest of their lives.

I can't wait for the Iowa beat writers to read this, and repeat it word-for-word as gospel in their articles, just like they did with the Plaintiff's lawsuit.

Some interesting details in there, such as:

Jonathan Parker had a secret tape recording of a meeting with Kirk Ferentz that he withheld from defendant’s counsel because it refutes most of his claims. During the incident where he alleges Brian called him a “dumb ass black player”, it turns out that Parker fucked up a drill, threw the ball at Brian and told him to “fucking do the drill yourself” (to which Brian appropriately called him an asshole and kicked him out of practice).

I’m really excited to see the bottom of the barrel, failed at everything else in life, living in shitty houses with chain link fences sports journalists giving their legal analysis. Since it’s, you know, in their wheelhouse and stuff
