Jonathan Parker had a secret tape recording of a meeting with Kirk Ferentz that he withheld from defendant’s counsel because it refutes most of his claims. During the incident where he alleges Brian called him a “dumb ass black player”, it turns out that Parker fucked up a drill, threw the ball at Brian and told him to “fucking do the drill yourself” (to which Brian appropriately called him an asshole and kicked him out of practice).

So Parker is every bit of the dipshit we thought he was in that bowl game.

Question for lawyers - can a judge dismiss some of the claims and not all? Some of those seem easier than others - players who are alleging damages who weren't coached by Brian and offered no specific allegations of damages caused by Brian.

Yes, it would be a partial summary judgment. The remaining claims would go to trial. And federal judges do it all the time.

Last year was the opposite. That was an 8 win team with some fortunate ball bounces.
